Able ARTS Work
The zines we have are created by artists in our arts programs for adults with developmental disabilities. They have created guide zines about the places they live such as "The MAP Guide to California" and "San Diego". There are zines of favorite things, stories and one that is a window into one's personal growth ("Bull Markers").

Akari Komura (b. 1996) is a Japanese text/visual/sound artist. Her zines integrate mixed-media collage, text, and visuals from the everyday. Each page zooms into a distinct moment from daily life. I am interested in inviting the readers to imagine and dream through the vignettes of text-visual composition.

Art of Nothing Press is an unconventional California publication for art, writing, and visuals. The publication coordinates events, curates issues, and fosters a safe space for artists. The issues are different creations of themes on a biannual basis celebrating authenticity within all arts.

Autohaus Zines
Autohaus Zines publishes compilation zines featuring about 20 artists per issue based on a chosen theme. We focus on giving less established artists a chance to share their work in our zines and cover various themes from love to failure to gender. Autohaus is run by Syd Christopher and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Aviatrix Press
I am a Los Angeles based bookbinder, letterpress printer and illustrator who has been self-publishing under the moniker Aviatrix Press since 2018. My zines feature my horror-fantasy illustrations as well as found ephemera and photographs. When I’m not making zines, I work as a studio technician at Otis College of Art & Design’s Laboratory Press.

Eori Tokunaga
Artist. Illustrator. Librarian. Zinester. Eori Tokunaga is an artist and writer based in LA County whose work is inspired by her childhood climbing trees, making fairy houses, and reading picture books in Japanese and English about food. When she isn’t making pressed flowers or creating zines, Eori works on her manuscript/picture book dummies that she hopes to have published one day.
